Allow me to be the hand on your shoulder that gently guides you…

A ceremony to remember the life of the one you love and say farewell with the support of your community of family and friends…
Whether you are planning a funeral, memorial, or a celebration of life service, this is a time to gather privately or with others to reflect on a life that has touched your own. This service will be as individual as the person you are honouring or farewelling, where we will recollect memories in a way that warms your heart…
A letter from me to you, with the hope of meeting you where you are.
Please allow me to extend my sympathy to you over the loss of your loved family member or friend. It can feel overwhelming to think about planning a service, especially if it is your first time.
Thank you for considering me to walk alongside you as your Celebrant, as we plan how to commemorate the life of your loved one. Be it a ‘time of remembrance’, a ‘time of honouring and paying tribute to their life’, or a ‘celebration of a life well-lived’, this ceremony is all about the one you love…
As you begin to plan, consider your loved one’s wishes if they expressed them, and where the service will be held. You can make plans to use a venue with the support of a funeral home, or you may wish to plan a family-led memorial at a private venue. I can work with you either way. The choice is yours, so please don’t feel pressured or the need to race.
I promise to make planning your loved one’s service straightforward by meeting with you to provide guidance and all the information needed to plan a meaningful and memorable ceremony. Not only will I help you, but I’ll empower you to make your loved one’s ceremony unlike any other you’ve seen.
Tailoring a ceremony to fit your loved one’s personality and beliefs is important to me, so the inclusion of stories, rituals or traditions will be respectfully entwined. You likely wish to include others in the ceremony and can invite them to share a tribute or select a reading or poem for them to read. If you have a unique idea of your own, please share it with me!
I’m comfortable facilitating to give family and friends the opportunity to share, or if you prefer, I can conduct the whole service for you.
After we’ve met, if you’re not completely at ease with me conducting the ceremony, I will graciously step aside. At the end of the day, this isn’t about my needs, it’s all about yours.
So, if you feel ready to start this process or just talk, let’s do that soon, as I wish to support you at this time…
