Naming Ceremony 

A ceremony to celebrate your precious little one’s arrival and officially welcome them into your community of family and friends…

Whether your child is a babe in arms or celebrating their first birthday, introduce them to the most important people in their world by holding a naming ceremony. This is a joy-filled day where family and friends can dotingly coo, breathe in that newborn smell, share some heartfelt and inspiring words, make memories, and have some fun too!

What’s included:

• Time spent (at your home or a mutually agreed upon place) getting to know your family and the qualities and heritage of the child being named.
• Communication by phone and email correspondence.
• Options for readings or poems and incorporation of customs, rituals, or any traditions important to your family. 
• Creation of a personal ceremony, welcoming the participation of those who are important to you and your child.
• Approval of script two weeks before your child’s naming day.
• I’ll wear professional attire and arrive 30 minutes early to greet your guests.  
• I’ll clearly brief those participating in the ceremony (including godparents or guardians) to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• I have a quality PA system (equipped with Bluetooth) and a Sennheiser mic.
• Pledges of support, poems or readings printed onto cards for your readers.
• Naming day certificate for the child (and godparents on request) in a pink, blue, or natural tone.
• Professionally presented ceremony delivered with a light-hearted feel.
• A keepsake copy of the ceremony.

Ceremony Fee

$550

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is payable after our first meeting. This secures my services and will be deducted from the final cost. The balance of the ceremony fee must be paid in full two weeks before your child’s naming day. I know how busy life can get, so I will send a reminder closer to this time!

Additional Fees

• Public holidays: $150
• Travel fees apply if the venue is more than 40kms from Murrumba Downs.

Time and Availability

This ceremony takes approximately 20 minutes. Celebrations take place after the naming ceremony itself.   
Suitable for an unlimited number of guests, dependent on your venue.
Available anytime, any day.
