There will be many elements to planning your ceremony but the best part for me, is hearing, writing, and sharing someone’s story. A story told right gives you all the feels, bringing tears, smiles and laughter. In my bespoke ceremonies, I’ll write and (with permission!) embellish your story in the spirit of entertaining your guests. The way I facilitate, keeps the focus on you.

Having conducted over 700 ceremonies commemorating life, I have witnessed that love is at the heart of life. Wanting to celebrate the feelings love evokes in other stages of life, led me to registering as a civil celebrant. Welcoming a little one who has hatched and marrying a couple who have found their perfect match, is my newfound joy!

Tailoring your ceremony to fit your personalities and beliefs is important to me. I’ll entwine customs or rituals into your ceremony or challenge tradition if it doesn’t best reflect who you are, to make your ceremony authentic and real. I’ll also encourage you to find meaningful ways to include those who matter.    

I’m not talking about the kind that allows me to do a headstand (google it) on my paddleboard, I’m talking about where I’ll travel! I’ll put on some tunes and drive my zippy Mazda to your ceremony. Ceremonies more than 40km from my home incur a travel fee.

I enjoy seeing an element of surprise added to a ceremony that leaves people talking (in a good way!) While I love people and being in the mix of celebrations, I’m here to look after your needs not mine. You can trust me to be the steady hand that guides you through your special day!
